The spring and rainy Season

The spring Season
There are four seasons in a year. They are the spring, the summer, the autumn and the winter. Of all these, the spring is the first and best season. It comes after the winter. It lasts for about three months –from March to May.
The spring is lovely. Nature looks green and smiling in this season. Different kinds of flowers and their sweet fragrance charm us. The sweet notes of the cuckoo make the season all the more pleasant. Besides, it is neither too cold not too hot. That is why it is like by all.
The spring lives on as a memorable season in our minds. WE look forward to its coming. When comes, it fills us with new life and energy. It creates a beautiful sight for us.
The season is a relief from the biting cold and scorching sun. It is suitable for all kinds of works. We don’t want the season to pass but as all good things come to an end, it passes. Authors and poets all over the world praise this season a lot.

The Rainy Season

The Rainy Season
In Nepal, there are six seasons. The rainy season is one of them. It comes after summer. It generally begins from the end of June and lasts the end of August.
Nepal has a monsoon climate. The wind carries the water particles from the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. The wind blows over many parts of Nepal. It reaches the colder region of the atmosphere. Then water particles are condensed into clouds. The water then falls down as rain. In this way rain is caused.
In the rainy season, the sky is covered with clouds. The sun cannot be seen for many days also. It rains for even a week of more than this. Rivers and canals are filled with water. Sometimes rivers overflow their banks. There are landslides in the hilly regions. The roads are sometimes blocked by the landslides. The flood usually spoils the crops. Buses and cars are seen to run through the mass of water. The rainy season come after the summer season. In the summer season nature seems to be lifeless because of heat. But with the coming of rainy season, nature gets a new life. Green trees, grass and paddy fields can be seen. The beauty of this season charms all. The poets are particularly charmed with this beauty and compose poems. Sweet-smelling flowers add to the beauty of season.
The rainy season has many advantages. In Nepal, majority of people are farmers. They plant different kinds of crops like rice, millet. Many sweet and juicy fruits like mango are found in this season. The flood washes away dirt. The country is free from many kinds of diseases.
There are many disadvantages of rainy season. In this season a road becomes muddy. In the hilly regions, the roads are often blocked. It is difficult to go from one place to another. People cannot go out for work. Their work suffers. The poor people living in the cottages have to suffer much. The roof leaks. Their houses are damp. Sometimes their cottages are washed away by flood. Many people became homeless. Cattle and crops are destroyed. The prices of goods are costly.
Anyway, rainy season is useful to us. It makes the earth cool after the sever heat of summer. The farmers grow paddy. The rainfall makes the crops grow well. The production decreases if there is no plenty of rain. Then famine will break out. That is why, we welcome the rainy season. It has more advantages in spite of its some disadvantages.
